Loans Against Shares

We are able to arrange secured loans against stocks and shares.

These shares need to be listed and have a minimum value of £2m.

Depending on the types of shares held our lenders can lend up to 70% of the value of those shares, however, most tend to be between 60% and 65%.

Typical rates and fees are;

Lenders fees would be around 0.10% p.a. custody fee, plus transaction costs per trade which vary depending on the instrument, but for exchange-traded equities like a Nasdaq-listed firm, would be 0.20%. Tend to be traded through an Investment Counsellor and/or a dealing desk.
